What’s happening?

My thoughts this week have contemplated ways that we can leak our energy, we all do it from time to time, and I find its often occurring through where we place our attention.  I see it constantly on the yoga mat, we can easily get distracted by people or situations around us. Then off the mat, traffic, public transport and living in a city where there is so much constant sensory stimulation.

How can we keep our attention focused?

How can we not react to the situations around us?

Yoga is a great way to find balance in body, mind and breath. What we learn on the mat we absolutely take with us off the mat and into the world around us. This can then radiate out to the people in our lives and hopefully create a ripple effect of balance and calm.

So when situations happen that tend to throw us off balance, we can respond from that place of equanimity that we have hopefully experienced through our Yoga.

With this is mind, schedule changes have happened and now my only public classes are at Body Mind Life in Surry Hills and Bondi and also my regular class at The Living Room in Coogee, which are now very popular every week.  I recommend booking in.

My students are a gift I never take for granted and I pour my heart into each and every class. Other than those public classes, I have limited spaces available for private lessons of 1-1 or 2-1 at my place in Maroubra Beach.

My website has all the details.

I also birthed into the world my beautiful baby boy Finn and the outpouring of love from my students has been humbling and honouring. Thank you all.
